Default and custom collection domains

Advertising URLs open your promoted website page directly. Channel recognition works with either collection domain.

Default collection domain

Install the site's generated asynchronous snippet. JuicyTraffic hosts the probe and receives its signals on the managed collection domain. No DNS setup or tracking redirect is required.

Custom collection domain

After your first credit purchase, open Sites → Settings → Collection domain. Add a dedicated subdomain, configure the displayed CNAME and wait for active DNS and a valid TLS certificate. Publish the updated tracking snippet so probe assets and events use that hostname.

The collection domain is a signal endpoint, not the ad destination. Current channel links still open your website directly and do not add a 302 tracking hop. After removing a custom domain, republish the snippet for the default collector.

Performance

The loader downloads asynchronously. Edge accepts events and sends downstream enrichment, evaluation and reporting through the Queue. The probe still has a small network and JavaScript cost; measure it against your site's performance budget.
