Set up a collection hostname
Configure the customer-owned hostname used by Use my domain. Updated 2026-08-22A collection hostname is a dedicated subdomain such as traffic.example.com. It records the redirect click and serves the probe; it does not replace your website or hide tracking from an advertising platform.
Set up the hostname
- Open Campaign integrations and add or open the promotion site.
- Select Add hostname and enter a dedicated subdomain.
- Copy the CNAME target shown by JuicyTraffic.
- Create one CNAME record from the subdomain to that target.
- Remove conflicting A, AAAA, or CNAME records for the same name.
- Wait for DNS: Active and TLS certificate: Valid.
- Run Test probe from the actual landing page.
DNS and certificate issuance can take several minutes. Recreating the hostname repeatedly can slow diagnosis; first confirm the exact DNS record and wait for propagation.
Before paid traffic
Open a designated test Campaign Link and confirm it redirects to the saved landing page. A normal redirect visit is a billable click, so prefer the built-in non-credit probe and conversion tests for routine checks.
Use one collection hostname for one site and environment. Do not point the same hostname at production and a test workspace.
