Validate site tracking

Run the non-credit installation check from Sites. Last updated 2026-10-05 4 min read
  1. Open Sites → Settings for the website.
  2. Select Validate.
  3. Allow the website to open in a new tab and keep it open.
  4. Wait for Tracking is active.

Validation checks that the published site can send a tracking signal to the expected collector. It creates no billable click. If it fails, verify the site key, published snippet, exact website origin, popup permissions and collection requests. Same-origin locale redirects are supported. Start a fresh validation after fixing the installation.
